Montagne Jeunesse Smoothie-Aux Fruits Mask

after the mask cracked and started flaking off, I looked like one of those statues that's been left out in the harsh weather too long haha

so I was in Ulta a while ago waiting to check out and saw some of these masks, which reminded me of how I used to use these when I was younger...like middle school younger. I remember using them because they were so cheap, around $2 each which isn't too bad for a mask.

I've used several of these, and have now found i like their peel off masks far better than the one I'm posting about. I've used their green tea peel off mask a while ago and I really liked that one.

This one however, not so much. The mask itself smells pretty nice, a little artificial, but nothing too intense. In the sachet you get a tonne of product...i probably could have used it twice...but having a moment of idiocy i was like "Oh I'll just fold the top over and use it tomorrow"...the mask that hardens when it comes into contact with air...yeah real smart Stephanie...I walked into my bathroom the next day and sure enough it was hard as a rock. so don't make the same stupid mistake I did!

The reason I didn't like this mask is because it is one of those masks that goes hard as a rock and then cracks if you move your face. the cracking I can deal with no problem! it's just the fact that it cracked and flaked off everywhere and I was sitting on my bed and found I was covered in white flaky bits and so was my bed....which is less than ideal. 

I also found that the masks that go hard as a rock don't do much for my skin because how could it if it just dries on the top of my face. I'm a fan of the burn-y masks that you can really feel getting into your pores and cleaning your face

but I really do like their peel off masks..so if you're looking for a cheap one time mask i really like those
