Movie Recommendation!

hey everyone! so i know i don't usually post this type of thing, but hey why not try something new in the new year? I just went to see Les Miserables with my mom, and it was FANTASTIC
i cried the whole end of the movie.

I took french all through high school (with honors the third and fourth year) and have seen probably every version of Les Miserables possible (well except every single broadway adaptation haha) and I can honestly say this was the best movie of 2012 (since it came out Christmas day) and probably will remain in my opinion the best movie of 2013 (which is saying something since Great Gatsby is coming out this year with Leo DiCaprio-my love)

If you don't know what it's about (I'll try and make this not a spoiler in case you haven't seen it) but it starts out with  a man who was imprisoned for 19 years for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his sister's son, and what happens when he gets out and a bunch of events take place and then he moves to Paris and this is at the beginning of the French Revolution. There's parts for everyone, theres a love story (but it's not super sappy-don't worry) and theres the revolution, and then theres the whole story with the Jean Valle Jean (the man who was imprisoned) and his parole officer Javert, and there are super sad parts (but not in a sappy romance way) and it's a musical-kind of...not like high school musical or hairspray type...its a serious musical. The name is Les Miserable - so obviously it's not very happy

also- if you know anything about Les Miserables and have seen the version with Liam Neeson, you know they left out a big character in that one, but have no fear! THEY PUT EPONINE IN THIS MOVIE WOOOO

BUT IT WAS SO GOOD
i would pay to watch it over and over...if it never came out on dvd i would pay to watch it at movie theatre prices over and over again which is saying a lot because I'm a broke college student.

I can't praise this movie enough. It has Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, and Russel Crowe to name a few...but not in a cliche way. I hate those movies when big name actors are thrown in there to attract viewers but ends up as a badly cast cliche movie.. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE- IT IS AMAZING

if any of you have seen it or see it on my recommendation please tell me what you thought of it!
i personally think this is one of my favorite movies of all time and cannot praise it enough
