| Bedhead Curlipops 1 Inch Styling Iron - $29.99 |
hey everyone! so all my friends always ask me how i curl my hair (i know i have real friends woohoo!) and so i figured my internet friends would want to know too! yes i consider my readers my friends :)
basically it's the easiest thing in the whole wide world...i just wrap my hair away from my face (sorry i dont have a picture but i don't have enough hands to do that)
the wand i use is a 1 inch one from bedhead...i got it at ulta when i had a 20% off coupon so it was like $24, so super cheap because it's super good quality, well built, and i can tell it will last me a long time.
i love this wand because it heats up extremely fast, it only has one heat setting (i dont know what) but its just hot enough to curl my hair without burning it or even smelling like burning hair.
i used to curl my hair with a conair curling iron ive had since 7th grade...so i had it for 6 years...and i'd taken the clip off..but it was on its last leg so i threw it away and decided to find a new one.
after i threw away my curling iron, and before i bought this wand, i tried curling my hair with a straightener for a while and let me tell you it was disaster, it fried my hair so much it felt brittle and horrible and dry and smelled bad even (mind you this all happened like a week after curling my hair with a straightener) so i decided that was not the route for me as it was super harmful to my hair as the iron like clamps it and fries the whole thing, whereas the wand, especially if you hold it kind of loosely like i do isnt really bad.
i've seen no change in the quality of my hair when using this..it hasn't damaged it at all i love it so much. when i curl my hair with it i wrap it away from my face, and hold the last inch or half inch of hair not on the iron, so i get more of the wave shown above (not super curled all the way down)
if you read the reviews it says to use the glove because it gets really hot...i've never burned myself with it and i don't use the glove because it takes too long and is too fussy to use and i feel like im pulling a michael jackson about to bust out into a moonwalk around my bathroom (i know, not a pretty image). so i personally have never used it especially because i dont curl my hair all the way to the tip (if you want to you'd probably need the glove) but that's not how i get my curls which is what i'm talking about! :)
so i love this curling iron, cheap, easy to use, heats up fast, doesnt damage my hair, well made, its just fab and i literally can do my whole head in 10-15 minutes which is extremely impressive since i have super curly hair
does anyone else use a wand like mine? i personally hate the ones that get smaller on the ends...but i like my big waves :)

It looks lovely!

aww thanks so much!!! :D:D
DeleteI don't use a wand! though, I do try to use a curling Iron as a wand, but it doesn't really work :) xx fun size beauty
ReplyDeletei used to do that! i just didnt use the clamp and wrapped it around the outside...i did that for about a year, then got frustrated that the clamp still snagged my hair, so i took it off and used that for about a year but it was getting really old and run down so i bought this one
DeleteYour hair is literally stunning and looks so healthy! You are definitely sporting my dream hair. x
ReplyDeleteawwww thank you so much!!!!!! it comes with a lot of work though getting my natural curls to behave and then turn them into this ...the wand makes it a thousand times easier though ;)
DeleteYour hair looks beautiful :) I'm so getting this !!
ReplyDeleteaww i'm glad i could help! i love this wand its my favorite hair tool and not even expensive!
DeleteThis looks so lovely! I haven't got a wand, so I have to brush out the tight curls from a curling iron, which obviously takes a little longer!
